The Lies They Told Me
White Hegemony has lied and hidden its history and true intentions for the Black Afrikan peoples of the world.
My mother raised us in a predominantly white suburban town called Naples, FL, and that is where my earliest memories of my life started. I remember witnessing the separation of human beings with Black children in regular classes and white students put on the gifted course - including one Biracial and Asian. The media available for our consumption, like Hannah Montana, always centered on white people. I began to see myself as white and hate my dark skin. I did not grow up in a household that expressed pride in our heritage, Afrikaness, Haitian identity, or Blackness. My mother was a raging narcissist who suffered from self-hatred and inevitably passed it down to her children. However, my self-hatred stemmed from wanting to be treated like a human being, which had not been my experience growing up. At the time, I internalized my oppression and abuse, falsely believing that I was the sole problem, and at times, I dealt with suicidal ideation as a young child. I am still in disbelief that I survived that era thanks to my ancestors looking out for me.
My consciousness began to be reawakened thanks to reading “Showdown: Thurgood Marshall and The Supreme Court Nomination” Book by Wil Haygood. This was when I realized that my formal education had whitewashed the actual racism and the vile nature of White people towards Black people. Nowhere in my education did they discuss lynchings, castration, rape, genital mutilation, and the annihilation of Black Afikans in this country. The horrors of slavery have been so terribly erased that even now, Florida Governor DeSantis has thrown out Black History, and the only time slavery is mentioned is to discuss how there were “nice” enslavers who taught enslaved people skills. Not to mention, the “nice” enslavers were the most evil. They justified an inhumane system sorta like the modern-day Democratic Party. Even now, Biden has worked to sanction the Afrikan continent, bomb Somalia, and enable U.S. occupation in Haiti through their puppet William Ruto, president of Kenya, and fund weapons used in the genocide of Palestinians ( Yes, there are Afro-Palestinians).
Not to mention his work in incarcerating Black people with the New Jim Crow. Joe Biden is a White Supremacist.
What does Afrika have to do with Black people in the U.S.?
Another aspect of self-hatred taught to Black people in the U.S. is the demonization of Afrikans and our motherland. Popular media controlled by White people have brainwashed us into thinking our history started with slavery. They erase the African civilizations that we come from, such as the Kerma Empire, Kush Kingdom, Mali Empire, Ethiopian Empire, Ife Empire, and so many more. They made us believe that slavery was our history, not theirs. Their media focuses on brainwashing us into believing that Afikans love to kill each other, just like their idiotic take on “Black on Black violence,” when the leading cause of death for Black people is systemic, psychological, and violent oppression. They tell the story of our kidnapping and enslavement as the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade, not Maafa- a Kiswahili word meaning “The great tragedy.” MAAFA refers to the Afrikan Holocaust( Genocide), the centuries-long enslavement and murder of millions of Africans by white Europeans, North Americans, and others—and the lasting impacts on African Peoples and the descendants of those who were enslaved. They don’t teach us about the European colonization of Afrika and the genocides they committed in Namibia or the Democratic Republic of Congo. They erase this history to keep the Afrikan people divided and unaware of our history as a people- knowledge is power.
Black people in the United States must know that there is a war on our minds and very existence. It does not matter if you vote Democrat or Republican because both parties are in on it. Franklin Jones does a great job of articulating the psychological warfare at play. Here is an excerpt, and I encourage you to read it:
“The present despairing state of Black America is neither a baffling phenomenon nor the result of some innate Black racial deficiency, but rather the result of a sophisticatedly distributed psychosocial program used to defend America’s white dominance particularly against the advancement its Black population.
As a means of ensuring the continuance of its white dominance and control the U.S. Government now secretly deliberately disseminates false deplorably racially devaluing statistics and propaganda about its Black population. These fraudulent statistics and propaganda are deliberately designed to adversely manipulate and shape the minds and collective consciousness of African Americans-- corrupting their sense of unity, cohesion, and fostering a consensual national setting of where in which Blacks are more easily divided, exploited and ultimately suppressed.
The constant relentless bombardment with deplorably negative images of themselves that of which African Americans are so inundated with, through a totally white controlled media, is a very carefully and deliberately designed psychological conditioning program. Its unrelenting daily **** on the Black psyche is designed to corrupt African Americans’ sense of racial unity and cohesion, mold the character of self-hatred, engender self-doubt, self-loathing, and distrust among their group. And while insinuating that Blacks admire, respect, and trust only Whites.”- The U.S. secret war on Black America--a real Black Matrix

Indeed, the truth can be stranger than fiction. I could not possibly fit in all that I have learned throughout my journey of rediscovery and Afrikan consciousness.
